Radar manuvering target detection with micro-motion compsensation based on 3DS-RFT

2016
Recently, many works has been contributed on the detection performance improvement of radar weak targets with complicated motion. However, most methods only consider target's translation and ignore the micro-Doppler effects, which will also cause the serious detection performance degradation in a practical application. In this paper, a new detection method based on three-dimensional space Radon-Fourier transform (3DS-RFT) is proposed to deal with the above problems. Firstly, the signal model of radar echoes with translation and vibration is given. Furthermore, the proposed method is introduced and it can compensate the range migration and phase vibration caused by the target's translation and vibration jointly. Finally, some numerical experiments results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
