산란후기에 뽕잎의 첨가급여가 산란계의 생산성과 계란품질 및 혈액성상에 미치는 영향

2018
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of feeding Mulberry leaves on the performance, egg quality and blood composition of laying hens during the finishing stage. Three hundred sixty Hyline Brown laying hens were replaced into four treatments with 5 replicates of 18 birds in each from 74 to 85 weeks of age. Basal diets contained ME 2750, CP 16% and added the 0, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.8% mulberry leaves. Egg production, feed intake, feed conversion and egg quality were measured in every four weeks. Blood and yolk were taken at the end of the experiment. Egg production, and daily eggmass fed mulberry leaves tended to increase compared to that of the control, but was not significantly different. Feed conversion seemed to improve in mulberry leaf addition treatment. Albumin height, haugh unit, eggshell breaking strength and eggshell thickness were not statistically different among the treatments. Unsaturated fatty acid content showed significant increase depending on the mulberry leaf addition(p<0.05), but saturated fatty acids decreased. HDL cholesterol of birds fed 0.4% mulberry leaves increased significantly, but the neutral fat decreased as mulberry leaf addition increased. The result of this study show mulberry leaf addition improved the egg production, quality, health of laying hens during the finishing stage.
