Динамика роста тонких пленок на атомарно гладкой поверхности

Recent results obtained in thin films deposited onto atomically smooth substrates exhibit an unusual rapid growth of roughness. The origin, we believe, is due to the local fluctuations of the surface tension during the deposition. An analytical approach is proposed. The relevance of these results to the technology is discussed.
