2020
Tutorship is the action of face-to-face or virtual orientation that teachers offer to students. It consists in a particular help understood as something intrinsic to the educational process of the students that arouses their interest, stimulates their behavior, and proposes significant goals in their academic progress. According to this idea, tutoring is an interesting quality factor in teaching and learning methodologies. From a quantitative perspective, in this research project it is analyzed the effectiveness of the tutorial action from the point of view of the students in order to contribute to increase the university teaching work. To achieve this aim, the following correlated variables were been considered: three Spanish universities (UBU, UCM and UNIR), two of them work according to a face-to-face model and the other one works online, two of them are public and the other one is private; it were been taken three degrees and two knowledge areas into account.  The results obtained allow us to conclude that although face-to-face tutorials are highly appreciated, the online ones are becoming more relevant and useful.
