Fe(上标 3+)掺杂提高二氧化钛的光催化活性

2010
Fe(superscript 3+) doped titanium dioxide photocatalyst was prepared by precipitation-hydrothermal method. The structures and optical properties of the as-prepared photocatalysts were characterized by XRD, Raman, XPS and UV-DRS. The photocatalytic activity was evaluated by measuring the decomposition of the distilled water solution of rhodamine under visible light irradiation. The results showed that the major crystalline phase detected in all samples was anatase, and the optical absorption edge significantly shifted toward the visible region and increased absorbance in the visible region. The photocatalytic activity of titanium dioxide was enhanced greatly by Fe(superscript 3+) doping. The titanium dioxide doped with 0.5% Fe(superscript 3+) had the highest phtocatalytic activity and rhodamine B solution decomposed completely within 6h, and degradation rate was approximately 4 times of the undoped titanium dioxide.
