Modeling and Simulation of Brushless DC Motor for Electric Vehicle Based on Bond Graph

Brushless DC motor for electric vehicle is a multiple energy system that includes machine,electric and magnetism. Aiming at the shortage that using traditional method of mathematical modeling for brushless DC motor has complexity, brushless DC motor with bond graph method is modeled based on analyzing its physical model, and changes the bond graph into block graph according to simple corresponding relationship. Then its dynamic performance is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink. The modeling process and simulation results show that bond graph combined with block graph possesses certain practicability and availability for modeling and simulation of brushless DC motor.
