Abstract : The Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990, as amended by the Federal Financial Management Act of 1994, requires an audit of the Air Force consolidated financial statements. We delegated the audit of the FY 1995 Air Force consolidated financial statements to the Air Force Audit Agency. On March 1, 1996, the Air Force Audit Agency issued its "Report of Audit: Opinion on Fiscal Year 1995 Air Force Consolidated Financial Statements" (Project 94053001). In that report, the Air Force Audit Agency disclaimed an opinion on the financial statements. This report provides our endorsement of that disclaimer of opinion. The audit objective was to determine the accuracy and completeness of the audit of the FY 1995 Air Force consolidated financial statements conducted by the Air Force Audit Agency.
