Research on Operation Control Technology of Multi-terminal DC Power Distribution System Based on Physics/Information Fusion

The physics/information fusion has become an important foundation for operation control of AC/DC power distribution system. In this paper, the operation control architecture of multi-terminal DC power distribution system based on IEC 61850 is proposed, including system management level, process management level, and process equipment level. The composition modules and operation control functions of the system management level are designed. The design method of software/hardware for intelligent electronic devices (IED) in the process management level is presented. Given the typical operation control strategies of the multi-terminal DC power distribution system, the IEC 61850 physics/information fusion model is extended. On this basis, the implementation method of system operation and control based on IEC 61850 is also elaborated. Further, the typical operation scenarios are verified by using the actual test platform. The research results show that the proposed operation control technology based on physics/information fusion is feasible.
