Nuevas evidencias del estilo ñuiñe en el suroeste poblano

espanolEl estilo nuine son las caracteristicas con las que John Paddock definio, en la decada de los 60, a un conjunto de sitios arqueologicos ubicados al noroeste de Oaxaca, mas concretamente en el distrito de Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca. A raiz de los hallazgos en el sitio de Cerro de las Minas en Huajuapan se pudo definir con mayor detalle el estilo, se han realizado algunas investigaciones en el area encaminadas a establecer la tipologia de asentamientos o el sistema de escritura desarrollado en la region. Y es precisamente de este ultimo tema del que queremos exponer los registros realizados recientemente en el suroeste de Puebla, relacionados con el sistema de escritura de una region de la que poco se conoce al ser escasa la investigacion antropologica –salvo algunas excepciones– e historica a ella enfocada. Presentaremos tambien las hipotesis derivadas de dichos registros que nos conducen a redefinir los limites y la extension del uso del estilo nuine; ademas, estos nuevos ejemplares de escritura nos permiten corroborar las distribuciones por area propuestos por Rodriguez. Por ultimo, encaminaremos esta nueva evidencia hacia la discusion de que grupos linguisticos utilizaron este sistema, pues esta region del suroeste de Puebla fue ruta de transito entre distintas areas de Mesoamerica y limite ultimo de la Mixteca Baja. EnglishThe Nuine style are the characteristics by which John Paddock defined in the 60’s a group of archaeological sites located at the Norwest of Oaxaca, Mexico, and more specifically in the distrito of Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca. Thanks to the archaeological findings in the site of Cerro de las Minas at Huajuapan, the style could be defined with more details; also some research has been carried out in the area with the purpose of establishing the type of settlements, or the writing system developed in the region. Regarding this last topic, our aim is to present the registers realized recently in the Southwest of Puebla, related with the writing system in a region which is poorly known due to scarce anthropological and historical studies focused in the area in question. We present the hypotheses derived from these registers which allow us to redefine the limits and the extension of nuine style. Furthermore, these new examples of writing let us corroborate the distributions of inscriptions by area, proposed previously by Rodriguez. Finally, based on the new evidence, we will contribute to a discussion on the language groups that used this writing system, given that in this region there was a commercial route that linked different areas of Mesoamerica and the last limit of the Mixteca Baja.
