Gene transfer methods retrovirus.

A method for transferring a gene into target cells using a retrovirus comprising: (i) providing a substrate on which are immobilized - a substance capable of binding a retrovirus and - an antibody which specifically binds to a target cell; (Ii) contacting said substrate with a suspension containing retroviruses, wherein said suspension is an undiluted culture supernatant or diluted retrovirus-producing cells; (Iii) washing the substrate to which is attached the retrovirus; and (iv) contacting and incubating the substrate to which the retrovirus to bind target cells, wherein said substrate is contacted with said suspension containing retroviruses for three to hours or more.
