Research on PWM Modulation Strategy of High-Power Permanent Magnet Synchronous Traction System

For high-power permanent magnet synchronous traction system, the inverter generally uses high-voltage and high-current switching devices, and the switching frequency is low. Aiming at the problem of switching frequency limitation of high-power permanent magnet synchronous traction system, the segmentation modulation method is used to study the switching conditions between different modulation modes, and the smooth switching between asynchronous modulation SVPWM, synchronous modulation SHEPWM, and square wave is realized. The semi-physical simulation of permanent magnet synchronous motor verifies the correctness and effectiveness of the above modulation strategy.
