Phase diagram of Ni-NiAl-Mo in the temperature range 1200-700 C

A study of phase equilibriums in the system Ni-NiAl-Mo in the temperature range 1200-700 confirms the occurrence of a four-phase reaction leading to the formation of delta (NiMo) and gamma (Ni3Al) intermetallics from a mixture of solid solutions of alpha (Mo) and gamma (Ni). A peritectoid transformation is shown to occur at 890 C in the system Ni-NiAl-Mo. Experimental data also suggest the occurrence of a four-phase reaction in the system investigated at temperatures below 730 C. 13 references.
