Deambulação e espacialidade em Paranoia (1963)

2021
Deambulation as an aesthetic practice is approached, within the surrealist movement, as a form of apprehension of space and evocation of convulsive beauty. This article aims to approach the deambulation through Sao Paulo, from the 1960s, as a structuring element in the construction of the photobook Paranoia (1963) with poetry by Roberto Piva and photographs by Wesley Duke Lee. Through a structural reading of the twenty poems inscribed in the book, the goal is to study the possibility of mapping and analyzing the paths adopted by the artists and to conclude, qualitatively, how the construction of the city's imaginary occurs in the work.
