Improving textbooks and teachers’ editions to meet the needs of diverse students

This article summarizes research findings on instructional strategies and textbook features that benefit diverse students. It then reports the conduct and findings of a study in which educators, researchers, and publishers collaborated to improve the usability of textbooks.
