Mikrostruktur und Eigenschaften von γ-TiAl-Basislegierungen

This paper describes the composition of intermetallic γ-TiAl based alloys and the interaction between their microstructures and mechanical properties. It is shown that the homogeneity of the microstructure plays an important role especially at room temperature. The deformation mechanisms at low and at elevated temperatures are discussed. Especially at elevated temperatures dynamic recrystallisation is gaining in importance. Finally, the superplastic behaviour of γ-TiAl based alloys is discussed.
