Research on the influence of current sharing characteristics under symmetrical power circuits layout for multi-module IGBTs parallel connection

The higher number of paralleled modules is required in high power converter applications. Consequently, the current distribution and the derating rate are seriously influenced by differences in electromagnetic effects for paralleled module. This paper proposes an optimized power connection layout in converter design to weaken the impacts.
