Relationship between microsatellite and growth characters in Jinhua pig

The relationship between the different genotypes of 30 microsattlite loci and growth characters(born weight,60-day body weight,4-month body weight and 6-month body weight)in 152 Jinhua pigs was studied by amplification of microsatellite markers using multi-plex PCR combined with fluorescein-labeled detection technology.The results showed that there were significant differences of born weight among different genotypes of microsatellite SW2476,SW0215 and SW24,and of 60-day body weight among different genotypes of SW902,S0143,SW0215,S0228,SW24,and of 4-month body weight among different genotypes of S0178,S0218,S0255,S0155 and SW951.Moreover,there was significant difference of 6-month body weight among different genotypes of S0217.
