The Incredible Boong Gi: Educational Game RPG For Mathematical Understanding Ability

Android is the most popular operating system today and used by various smartphone vendors. Meanwhile, the development of games in the digital era is very rapid, especially for the types of mobile games on Android. Some mobile game genres are now very popular such as adventure, first-person shooter, fighting, racing, and others. This development must provide opportunities in the education sector to make games that are not only for fun but also for education. The purpose of this study is to produce a valid educational game that can be used by students in junior high schools in order to improve the ability of mathematical understanding of the relationship and function of matter. The research method used is R&D (research & development) using the ADDIE model abbreviated as ADD (analysis, design, development) The results obtained by the game "The Incredible Boong Gi" are valid with an average of 96.70% of the validator experts and validators media. The results of the practicality questionnaire from 9 students averaged 90.32%.
