A study of groundwater characteristics in the Songhua River basin of China

2021
In this paper, the representative Yinmahe and Lianhuashan areas were selected as the focus of this project. Based on investigation and sampling, we utilized previously acquired data, integrated mathematical statistics, a Piper trilinear map, proportional coefficients, and isotopic ratio comparisons. Using SPSS analysis software and PDA Based Embedded GIS technology to develop groundwater pollution analysis software, the characteristics of groundwater in the study area were mastered. Both the hardness and mineralization of groundwater in the Lianhuashan area were high. The main ions are HCO3− and Ca2+; the mass concentration levels for Mn, Fe, K+, and NO2 varied by region. There are metasilicic acid and strontium enrichment areas. The quality of groundwater improved through years of prevention and control of groundwater pollution. The groundwater in the Songhua River basin is closely connected with river water, spring water, and reservoir water and effectively supports local economic development.
