The embodiment of the invention provides an information interaction method and a vehicle terminal. The method comprises the steps of when the vehicle terminal is in a shutdown state, periodically receiving a trigger starting instruction, and starting a network function based on the trigger starting instruction; sending target information representing a current vehicle condition to a preset device based on the network function; or, receiving association information associated with the vehicle terminal and sent by the preset device based on the network function, wherein the preset device comprises a server or a terminal bound with the vehicle terminal. By adopting the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, when the vehicle terminal is in the shutdown state, information interaction is still periodically carried out with the preset device to realize a long connection state of the vehicle terminal and the preset device.
