Multi-objective Distributed Generation Planning Based on Improved Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

2012
By normalization and selection of weight coefficient,multi-objective distributed generation(DG) planning model with the aim of minimum network loss, average deviation of node voltage, maximum stability margin of quiescent voltage and minimum total investment cost is transferred to single objective.Improved particle swarm optimization(IPSO) algorithm is adopted for optimizing calculation of DG planning. To avoid sinking into local optimum, nonlinear self-adapting adjustment is carried on inertia weight;in the mean time, velocity mutation operator and location crossover operator are introduced in the process of calculation, which better handles probability in sinking into local convergence in later part of calculation.IPSO algorithm is applied in 69-bus test system for distribution networks and the simulation result shows that IPSO algorithm is effective and workable.
