The present invention relates to a power cable and / or telecommunications comprising at least one layer of a material obtained from a composition comprising a thermoplastic polymer matrix, and a phenolic resin, characterized in that said phenolic resin is selected from phenol-formaldehyde novolac resins and novolac cyanate ester resins, and in that said material comprises particles of cured phenolic resins dispersed throughout the material.
