Preliminary Studies on Tablet Disintegration by Sorption Calorimetry

The heat of sorption of some materials — including cyclo-dextrin derivatives — used also as tablet disintegrators and of artificial tablets was measured in an LKB sorption micro-calorimeter. A correlation between the disintegration rate and the heat of sorption is sought.
