Análisis prosopográfico de los parlamentarios electos de los distritos de Vasconia en tiempos de restauración monárquica (1876-1890)

This article proposes a prosopographical analysis. The case study concerns a hundred MPs representing constituiencies of the Basque Country in the Spanish Parliament during the first stage of the Restoration (1876-1890), based on comprehensive databases from primary sources. We study the degree of penetration in these districts of foreign policy, the persistence of elites from previous periods, the stability of these representatives in office, his previous political experience, their participation in parliamentary activity, the key issues that occupied them in discussions, as well as other aspects that are related to their relationship with their constituencies and their performance within the major national parties of the time.
