Nucleic Acids in the Vine of Cuscuta chinensis

Summary RNA and DNA were estimated in different segments of the vines of Cuscuta chinensis Damk. The near-haustorial segment contained the greatest amount of both RNA and DNA, followed by the apical region; the intervening segments contained still smaller amounts.
