35.4: Advanced‐MVA Mobile Technology for Fast‐Switching LCD Displays

We demonstrated a protrusion-less MVA-LCD (AMVA-mobile) with fast switching response of 8 ms (on) and contrast ratio over 600:1. High performance is attributed to use an effective polymer alignment layer and improvements in optical optimization and curing process.
