Method and system for diverting of voice and short message services

An embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a system for diverting of voice and short message services. The method includes: an MSC (mobile switching center) sets voice service diverting for a user on the basis of a voice service call diverting request sent by the user through a mobile terminal; the MSC plays a short message service diverting setup prompting voice to the mobile terminal after voice service diverting is set up successfully; responding to a received short message service diverting setup request sent by the mobile terminal, the MSC generates a service short message and sends the service short message to a short message service platform for short message service diverting setup; responding to a received short message service diverting setup success response message sent by the short message service platform, the MSC plays a short message service diverting setup success prompting voice. By the method and the system for diverting of voice and short message services have the advantages that the user does not need to independently perform short message service diverting setup, and success rate and efficiency in short message service diverting are increased.
