Excavator single cylinder log grappler with rotating mechanism

2012
The invention discloses an excavator single cylinder log grappler with a rotating mechanism. The excavator single cylinder log grappler mainly comprises a hydraulic oil cylinder, a four-connecting-rod mechanism and a slewing mechanism. The four-connecting-rod mechanism comprises a lower connection seat, a synchronous connecting rod, a left grabhook and a right grabhook. The left grabhook and the right grabhook are fixed on the lower connection seat through a pin shaft. The synchronous connecting rod is connected with the left grabhook and the right grabhook through the pin shaft. The hydraulic oil cylinder is connected with the four-connecting-rod mechanism. The slewing mechanism comprises a rotary motor, an upper connection seat, a slewing bearing and a slewing connector. The slewing connector is connected with the hydraulic oil cylinder. Through adoption of the four-connecting-rod mechanism and the slewing mechanism, original double oil cylinders are simplified to be a mechanical structure and a hydraulic system of a single oil cylinder. The excavator single cylinder log grappler achieves working processes of freely adjusting directions and rotating any angles to grab and load wood, and is reliable in performance, easy to manufacture and low in cost.
