Method for permanently embedding one in a molded during the vulcanization of the tire recess (2, 2 ', 2' ') used in the tread of a vehicle pneumatic tire profile insert (3, 3', 3 ''), wherein the profiled insert (3, 3 ', 3 '') consists of a rubber material which with respect to at least one property, such as stiffness, different from the surrounding rubber material of the tread. The tread rubber is connected to the rubber material of the profiled insert (3, 3 ', 3' ') by means of a reactive adhesive system, which has at least a component that sublimes under external action of heat, penetrates into the boundary layers of rubber materials and cross-linked there.
