The Indispensable Control

An opinion is presented that the current climate change and economic crisis is leading humans to value nature as an important autonomous entity. The emerging concept of 'animism' which projects society on to nature is discussed, also stressing the need for artists to represent nature and its temporal compositions by humanising nature.
