Redistribution of residual welding stresses in pulsed electromagnetic treatment

Experimental results demonstrate that in an AMg6 alloy specimen after pulsed electromagnetic treatment, a significant decrease and redistribution of residual welding stresses are observed. Numerical simulation corroborates that the treatment effect is not associated with a thermal field influence.
