The Active Queue Scheduling Method for the QoS of the WiBro Service

2008
This paper proposes the active queuing management and channel allocation method (Active WRED) for the quality guarantee of the various WiBro services in the NGN(Next Generation Network) environment. The threshold of WRED (Weighted Random Early Detection) is controlled for the guaranteed service QoS, and a queue length and CID(Connection ID) are actively allocated. The QoS can be guaranteed through this kind of process. According to the service distribution, it controls the arrival rate of a service and the service scheduler of SS(Subscriber Station) and BS(Base Station) can avoid the congestion of the guaranteed service.
