Studies on lymphocyte collection by continuous-flow centrifugation and adverse reactions of patients.

We studied opimal procedure and adverse reactins of lymphocytapheresis using continuous-flow centrifugation.When centrifugation speed and flow rate were fixed to 650rpm, 45ml/min respectively, maximum lymphocyte yields and minimal platelets loss ratio were obtained.According to this procedure, mean yield of lymphocytes was expected to be 2×109 from 2500ml of procesing whole blood.We evaluated 55 times of lymphocytepheresis to 12 patients, no adverse reaction were observed in these patients.
