Толерантність як взаємне визнання

The article is devoted to understanding the phenomenon of tolerance in the context of Paul Ricoeur's theory of recognition. By analogy with the path of recognition, author identifies three stages of formation of tolerance: 1) recognition-identification; 2) self-recognition as a recognition of himself as the subject of speech, story, action and responsibility, and 3) mutual recognition, which is the highest level of tolerance, guided by the logic of gift and is aimed at reconciliation.
