[Regional differentials in cancer mortality in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1979-1981].

Cancer mortality trends in Brazil from 1979 to 1981 are analyzed using data for the state of Rio de Janeiro. The data are examined separately for the capital the metropolitan belt and the interior.
