The title nanocubes with particle sizes of around 80—120 nm are solvothermally synthesized from mixtures of FeCl2, sulfur powder, 1,2-dodecanediol, and oleylamine (autoclave, 180 °C, 18 h), and characterized by powder XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman spectroscopy, and electrochemical measurements.
