Ladder-Type Mid-Range Wireless Power Transfer

In order to improve the power transfer efficiency and ensure the transfer distance as long as possible in the resonance wireless power transfer system, a new ladder-type pattern is proposed. Based on the mutual inductance coupling theory, a new methodology for ensuring the maximum transfer efficiency is presented. The theoretical proof and the conditions for meeting the objective are derived and practically verified in a practical prototype. The experimental results have confirmed the mid-range and high-efficiency power transfer capability.
