NLC klystron R & D

This is a progress report on two ongoing projects in the SLAC Klystron Department: The continuing development of XP‐3, (“Designed for Manufacture”, or “DFM”) klystron, and a new program to develop a sheet‐beam version of this NLC source, also producing 75 MW, 3‐microsecond pulses, with a repetition rate of 120 Hz.
