Estudio y Construcci´ on de Grillas El´ ipticas por el MGauss-Seidel Study and Construction of Elliptic Grids by the Gauss-Seidel Method

2010
Gauss-Seidel method was used to solve Navier Stokes equations, through spatial discretization. The method allows to discretize the physical space in which fluid movement occurs, and thus generate a proper grid, equivalent to the boundary conditions imposed on the system. This method is applied to the elliptic grid construction and mainly to the description of hydraulic jump and a NACA-2412 airfoil. The results are within the expected range reported in the literature.
