To achieve a good damping effect, the gravity center point of the sighting telescope of the infrared gun, all gun sighting telescope sizes and installing sequences need to be further determined. By means of the method, firstly, the position of a gun telescope connecting base is determined, the gravity center point of the sighting telescope of the infrared gun is further determined, and meanwhile the distance between an eye shade and a gunstock is taken into consideration. Then, software is utilized, the proportion of the length between a battery cover shell and a cylindrical shell is determined so as to more accurately adjust the actual gravity center position point to the determined gravity center position rapidly and accurately, and a good damping effect is achieved.
