USE OF TRANSPORT MODELS IN POLICY IMPLEMENTATION

This paper deals with the interaction between transport modelling and financial models for public transport. Transport modelling yields indication for travel demand. The travel demand is a necessary component for financial models, once the total income for public transport companies is derived.The limits for this usage of transport models are sketched.
