Crystallographic and NMR studies of platinum(II) and palladium(II) .eta.3-methallyl trichlorostannate olefin complexes

Complexes of the type M(SnCl 3 ){η 3 -CH 2 C(CH 3 )CH 2 }(olefin) (M=Pt, Pd; olefin=styrene, ethylene, norbornene) have been prepared and their 1 H, 13 C, and, in some cases, 119 Sn and 195 Pt NMR spectra recorded. Two-dimensional 1 H NOE and 13 C- 1 H correlation methods were used for assignment purposes
