Clinical Treatment of Acute Acalculous Cholecystitis in 58 Aged Patients

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and surgical treatment of acute acalculous cholecystitis(AAC) in Aged patients.Method Clinical data of 58 ACC cases in our hospital from December 2002 to March 2009 were analyzed retrospectively.Results Of the 58 patients selected,47 underwent cholecystectomy,8 partial cholecystectomy,3 cholecytostomy and exploration of common bile duct.No death and serious complications occurred within these patients.Conclusion B-mode ultrasonography,CT and laboratory examination are the main methods for diagnosis of AAC.Early diagnosis and positive operation are important to raise the curative rate ,prevent perforation of cholecyst,reduce complications and mortality of AAC.
