Four Cases of Facial Bone Fracture with Functional Disturbance

Four cases of facial bone fracture with functional disturbance were treated by means of orthopaedical procedure in our clinic.Case 1: He had combined type of the Le Fort 2, 3 and vertical type with eye ball rupture. He was treated by intermaxillary wiring, reduction of fracture, application of eye ball prosthesis and repair of scar.Case 2: He had zygoma fracture and disturbance of articulation without disturbance of occular movement. The reduction of fracture to improve of facial deformity and of disturbance of articulation was perfomed, and good result was obtained.Case 3, 4: They had blow-out fracture. One of them showed good clinical course by operative procedure, other showed no good result inspite of similar procedure of the former. Although he had re-operation, the limitation of up-ward movement of eye ball was remained.
