Nucleic acid analysis

2012
An embodiment relates to a nucleic acid analysis method for a sample. The nucleic acid analysis method comprises subjecting the sample to an amplification reaction using a first primer and a second primer, reacting an amplification reaction product with a nucleic acid probe, determining the occurrence of hybridization and/or the amount of the hybridization, and determining the presence of a target nucleic acid and/or the abundance of the target nucleic acid in the sample. The amplification product produced using the first primer and/or the second primer forms a stem-loop structure. The nucleic acid analysis on the sample can be achieved by detecting the occurrence of the hybridization between a nucleic acid probe complementary to the sequence for a loop structure and the amplification product and/or abundance of the hybridization.
