Determination of Resin Content in the Pulp

In this article,the resin in the pulp was extracted with acetone by soxhlet extraction method,and the optimal extraction conditions were determined through the orthogonal design experiment which is as follows: the water bath temperature is maintained at(70 ± 2)℃,extracting for 3 h,after evaporation of the solvent,the residue is dried at(103 ± 2)℃ for 2 h.The resin content in the pulp is obtained by comparing the acetone extractive and the overdried pulp sample.This method is simple and accurate.
