The Application of Double Control of Vestical Bearing Capacity and Setlement in the Design of Socketed Pile

According to the settlement mechanism of pile-soil elastic-plastic system, the bearing behaviour and design problems of socketed pile are discussed. Combined with engineering practice, the design principles and method of socketed pile cnstallated on bearing stratum underlain by soft substrum are presented.
