The study of the father´s upbringing activity and its concrete components: motivation, upbringing actions, concrete operations (upbringing methods), made ' it possible to single out four types of paternity (inconsistent, conducted, paternalistic, haughty), to determine the peculiarities of the father´s upbringing activity connected with a child´s age and sex.
