ESTUDIO DE SERIE DE CASOS: FACTORES DE RIESGO DE FLUJOS VAGINALES PATOLÓGICOS EN GESTANTES SERIES OF CASE STUDY: RISK FACTORS IN PREGNANT PATHOLOGICAL VAGINAL FLUIDS

2008
It is a retrospective case study that describes the risk factors associated with the presence of vaginal discharge of 108 pregnant women attending a CAMI in Bogota during March 2005 to July 2006. Based on surveys and reports of laboratory tests used to smear them, a database was generated, after coding variables, a descriptive analysis in terms of frequency and percentage. The 54,6% of pregnant women surveyed have bacterial vaginosis, 6,5% absence of stable sexual partner, 37% done cleaning perianal back forward. The results suggest that pregnant women attending the CAMI may present high risk of maternal and infant morbidity and mortality associated with vaginal discharge pathological.
