Epidermoid CYST - Breast: A Rare Entity Posing Clinical Dilemma

2014
An epidermoid cyst is a benign cyst of pilosebaceous origin. It is most commonly located on scalp, back and trunk1-3. Breast is a rare site for the occurence of this pathology. Very few cases have been reported in the literature 6,7. The mammographic and ultrasonographic pictures of this lesion can mimic carcinoma breast and thus identifying the lesion by fine needle aspiration cytology can help to reach the diagnosis with minimum effort and time.
